FRS recommends that if you do have to meet up with any of the following please do so in a public place and let someone know where you are going!!

Maha Makhdum - Graduated in Psychology. Been working here since June ’07. Friendly, I like to go out and socialise with my friends and family. Erm don’t really know what else to say without it actually sounding like an actual lonely hearts ad!

Andy Hughes - This is my very first venture in to the so called “dark side” of media having worked for the last 4 years at a few of the leading agencies around London. Although being able to leave work roughly on time I am still struggling to see the “dark side” of sales. I along with the “Asian Midget loving” Mr Joyce have one achievement though of which I am very proud – being the other co founder of the famous Palms Of Goa monthly media curry club. I will for certain, be found dining with the media elite, at the window seat, in this Charlotte Street wonder, on the first Friday of every month. Weekends are spent mostly intoxicated through lager and red wine after attempting to play football aka standing in a field getting cold.

Jessica Scott - I have recently taken to playing the guitar and can play Man on the Moon by R.E.M (amongst other classics). I like socialising with my friends (pretty standard really?) and watching live comedy.I dislike when people use ‘text’ language, especially ‘LOL’. It drives me nuts. I also dislike onion rings

Simon Joyce - This is my second year and return to FRS after a brief dabble back to the agency side where I started my media adventure. Before re discovering the red lights of FRS I spent a few months travelling the world and found heaven in the paradise of the Philippine islands, in which I developed a healthy obsession for Asian Midgets, Dwarfs and Ninja swords. After returning from my travels I was devastated to find that the ‘Media Thursday’ has near enough collapsed. I now seem to be out of the loop, or simply not invited out anymore. I do have one achievement though of which I am very proud – being the co founder of the famous Palms Of Goa monthly media curry club. I will for certain, be found dining with the media elite, at the window seat, in this charlotte street wonder, on the first Friday of every month. At weekends I love seeing my pals and getting on it and when I am feeling especially brave I cry myself away from the Kassam Stadium. I’m really scared of having to get a ‘real job’ one day.

Rosalind Liburd - Joined First Radio Sales from Impact almost 4 ½ years ago and the time has flown by! Likes: The Theatre, music - in particular R&B and soul, dancing, watching documentaries, CSI and Criminal Minds!! Most sports especially football – an avid Man United fan (and yes before you ask, I do live in Manchester). What more can I say….

Lee Staples - As an important part of strategic sales I’m responsible for generating plenty of business for FRS. Having spent five years in the cut-throat world of press I joined FRS in September 2006 and since then have been sat on four different pods (not sure if that is because I’m so popular or people want to get away from me!) I’m probably best known for my silky football skills (?), morning mood swings and stories of shenanigans in exotic places like Riga, Ibiza and Croydon. Likes: Football, Booze, Music, Women (not necessarily in that order) Dislikes: Mondays, Donuts, Mika

Rebecca Hellmuth:
Hi! I joined First Radio on 24th Sept. I live in Burnham just outside of London but one day hope to make the move to the big L and have my own place! I’m looking forward to my future with First Radio so watch this space… Likes: Films, Food (esp. Indian Food), Work (I actually do!), a drink or two or three and happy people. Dislikes: Gherkins, Pigeons, Winter, Fish and the person who dented my car and never owned up!

Faye Jacobs - After a long time on the agency side (too long to actually mention!) I saw the light and joined the fun life of sales. I love the movies and I'm often found munching popcorn in some cinema or another in Leicester Square. I'm a big fan of the Killers and enjoy fine dining in and around this wonderful place we call London. Some might say I like a drink or two, but personally I don't know what they're on about! I have a strong dislike for Daniel Beddingfield and Croc sh
oes.

Daniel Steele - Wound up working at FRS Regional Office after a failed bid to become the next prime-time TV detective, a la Magnum. Enjoys long country walks, lager-based drinks and painting still lifes of ageing bread

Tony Mellor - ex-football hooligan turned good, Tony was unavailable for comment. We fear that those pesky neighbourhood cats are re-arranging his solar garden lights again

Oliver Richardson - has been involved in the media world for 7 years, and made a break from Rupert Murdoch's capitalist pay roll 3 years ago to join the thriving Local Radio world. A life long dream since having to go to the GWR studios in Wootton Bassett on a school trip! At weekends he is often found on the rugby / cricket fields of North London depending on the season, and sometimes in the bar quaffing a dry sherry comparing boat shoes and merino knits with pals.
Andy Jones - Why FRS? I enjoy working for a company that provides me with as many opportunities as it does challenges! There is rarely a day when I don’t learn something new and having the chance to work with some of the best ILR stations in the country is a real plus. What do I do? Regional Sales Director. This means keeping the team happy, motivated and supplied with as many sticky buns as possible. I count myself lucky to work with some of the best people in the regional radio marketplace, they are experienced, hard working, are totally committed to getting the job done and make my job easy! In my spare time I run a cash dispensing facility to three hungry, never satisfied children who believe that my only role in life is to provide an on call taxi service! My wife spends her time convincing me that it’s all worth while!
Clio Pope - I'm the newest account manager in the Manchester office. I started my career (after graduating uni) as a sales exec for the Express & Star in Wolverhampton and then I moved up to Manchester to work as a sales planner for GCap Media. After 18 months I decided to move on and here I am!

Meryl Witcombe - I'm 24, Likes - beach, surfing, sunbathing, outdoor activities and of course Pay day!. I dream to jump out of a plane one day! I also have a addiction to anything criminal (not taking part but watching) CSI eat your heart out. Love chocolate e.g Bourneville, dairy milk (and all you heathens - anything with crispies, nut, wafers or fruit does not count as a chocolate bar). Hopeless romantic so if you have armour and own a white horse you're in with a chance ; ) Dislikes - hangovers, people talking to me while I watch TV, people who forward me rubbish over email. That’s pretty much it because I'm a positive person at heart!

Rinisha Mistry - Work history – Clear Channel Radio Sales, Capital Radio Group/GCap Media, First Radio Sales. Me – A distinct laugh, always smiling apart from when hungover, Likes - Men, boybands and ‘devil music’ as Dominique calls it. Alcohol (wine, vodka, cider and really enjoying Coronas recently), laughing at other people’s misfortune, George Clooney. Dislikes - People who make grammatical errors, ‘You’re So Vain’ by Carly Simon, Nuts, Raisins and oats.

Richard Norman - I am a father, a West Ham fan and also a very keen pirate enthusiast. At FRS, I fiddle about with Microsoft XL spreadsheets and lose large dogs amidst the chaos on my desk. In an ideal world i would love to combine all my favourite things which would mean creating a pivot table to calculate how many times the Hammers can change a nappy whilst dressed as Captain Pugwash. If anyone knows of a job that involves doing this and getting paid for it, please let me know

Nina Collins – 26, from 'up norf'. Likes: Going to watch pretty much anything at the cinema. Intense American series' which destroy your social skills, 24 & Heroes etc. Marmite & Peanut Butter on toast (try it before you knock it). Dislikes: Coffee, how do you people drink that stuff?! Pubs/bars that have signs saying 'no hoodies' outside'. Harry Hill - I don't get it. Ostriches.

Nathan Bennett – Love to Rock, though my expanding girth only allows me to Roll these days. Food is good, as is shopping. Enjoy growing facial hair and possess a girlie obsession with candles and gladiolae. Ambition is to one day take a driving lesson

Phil Rowlands - Phil’s a fairly new member of the FRS Manchester team. He’s a cheeky scouser who thinks the jobs worth travelling to Manchester from Liverpool everyday. G.S.O.H. 26 years young. Avid LFC fan. Likes to fall asleep in random places at random times. Well travelled and well (we couldn’t print the rest, but you get the jist!). Next…

Lesley Jones - Wolves fan. Enough said.

Bunmi Daramola - my names Bunmi I'm an R&B and Gospel Girl I don’t do ABBA I think that's old skool
